Vince Quevedo is a widely respected designer and artist celebrated for his exceptional contributions to fashion design, wearable arts, and art quilts. He has four patents and teaches at Kent State University.
I started by digitally altering a photograph in Photoshop to create my art quilt. Then, I printed the modified image on cotton fabric using a digital textile printer. Next, I added texture to the fabric using echo/channel stitching. I left some parts of the image unquilted to add depth and interest to the quilt.
