Bio
I am a NYC based artist.I was born in Colombia and raised in New york . I am the second youngest out of five children. I have always had a deep interest in art, and an urge to just bleed pure art that is trying to find its way into existence. Self expression has been a big part of my life and something that has always been extremely important to me. It feels necessary in order to obtain fulfillment in the most authentic form possible.I have always loved drawing, sometimes I would find myself making intricate drawings, even on napkins while working at different nightclubs and restaurants. I truly feel like I found a deep calling in painting because the process that works for me is so organic, intuitive and free of expectations. My preferred medium has always been acrylic paint, although I do add bits of oil to some of my work. All I have learned has been through my own exploration and curiosity with creating. I love coming to a point where I fall in love with each piece and being able to share that with others. Sometimes the journey with each piece is a rollercoaster but I focus on the journey. My motivation is the unraveling of my own cluttered mind and I feel like I found the perfect marriage for that process through abstract painting.
