Bio

Tayyibah Baz, born in 2002 in Bradford, United Kingdom, is a contemporary painter based in her hometown. Working primarily in watercolour on paper and canvas, her practice seeks a balance between realism and abstraction through restrained composition and reflective imagery. Grounded in her lived experiences and sincerity in knowledge, her work portrays a sense of awe by giving renewed meaning to Allah’s creation through visual references to the narratives of the Quran and Sunnah, inviting contemplation and remembrance.
