Bio
Born in Brasília-DF, Brazil, ever since her childhood Tatyani Quintanilha has had a fascination with the human figure and its fantastical and symbolic representations. Her life has been marked by chronic kidney disease and haunted by several periods of social reclusion, instabilities, guilt, and physical and psychological pain due to the lengthy treatments she has endured over the years.

Drawing and painting have always played an essential role in her life. She holds a bachelor's degree in Fine Arts and a postgraduate degree in Analytical Psychology. Her work is beautiful, dark, ephemeral. Her artwork, evoking a sense of fear in some and wonder in others.

Her artwork has been exhibited in Brazil, Canada and United States. She created collective art project in her pursuit to involve the macabre art market. La Chimèra promotes a networking environment for macabre and underground artists, through exhibitions, awards, catalogues, etc. Currently she participates in live painting battles around North America.
