´Look this way.´ is a series of images that explore physical disabilities and conditions...the visible and those that are hidden. As a disabled person suffering from HS (Hidradenitis Suppurativa), I want to use my art to highlight and raise awareness.
If you would like to take part, just get in touch. I will ask you to send me a photo of you
in a pose that you feel represents your medical condition. You will be also asked to write about it and give any advice for future generations.
You will (at your discretion) be tagged and your condition in the step-by-step videos via all of my social media to raise awareness. You will receive a high-resolution image of the final piece and all of the videos if you would like them.
These pieces are not for profit and the originals will not be sold. Instead, they will be displayed in exhibitions where they will continue raising awareness. I aim to collate all of these images into a book with the stories of the people taking part. The profits from the book (apart from publishing costs) will be donated to the charities chosen by the people taking part.

Objects during the shrunken space of lockdown grew not only in their physical form but meaning.
In this collection of works, I wanted to highlight objects with an inner and external beauty that normally remains untapped. A beauty that, just like with a lot of us, is lost within the noise of modern-day society.
