I've not always been a painter. My painting came out of a season of grief and pain. A friend encouraged me to put my grief in a productive place. With that, I resolved that I would either learn to play the violin or paint.Thus began a journey of painting through repetition and encouragement. With both of these, the art of working on a skill, is not only possible, but full of joy.
