Bio
Rebecca Hillery-Tong is a British painter based in Ireland and London.
She received Fine Art Foundation and a BA hons degree in Fashion Design at Kingston University, London, UK.
After a 30 year career as a professional fashion designer, Rebecca quit the industry to re-focus on her art practice.
Her painting explores portraiture and still life. Since relocating to SW Ireland her focus is on ecology and seaweed. Rebecca has a painterly expressive style with experimental use of colour. She works primarily in oils and acrylics. She has exhibited in 4 group exhibitions in London and her work is held in private collections in UK and Europe.
