Bio

Rebecca Hillery-Tong b.1964 is a British painter based in London and SW Ireland.
She received her Art Foundation in a BA honours degree in Fashion Design at Kingston University, London, UK.
After a 30 year career as a professional fashion designer, Rebecca quit the industry to re-focus on her art practice.
Her work explores fashion-inspired portraiture and since moving to rural Ireland ecology - focusing on seaweed - with a painterly expressive style and experimental use of colour. She works in mixed media, primarily oils and acrylics.
