Sherpas of Hope
Canvas
In this painting, a mother and her child are accompanied by a Sherpa, carrying a backpack full of dreams and hope, as they trek towards an unknown destination. The Sherpa's calm and confident presence serves as a reminder that even when we are faced with uncertainty, we can trust in the wisdom and guidance of those who have walked the path before us.
The vibrant colors in the painting represent the beauty and excitement of life, even in the face of adversity. It is a tribute to the strength and determination of the Sherpa people, who have overcome countless challenges to make their mark on the world.

Snow in Singapore
Canvas
"Snow in Singapore" is a stunning and evocative piece of art that captures the essence of the Emerald Hill area in Singapore. Situated in the heart of the city, off the famous Orchard Road, this historical location is brought to life in exquisite detail through the artist's skilled brushstrokes.
The painting portrays several individuals braving the rainy evening, most likely returning from a long day of work and on their way to the train station. Against the backdrop of a dark and brooding sky, the warm glow of the tungsten light illuminates the inside corridor that connects all the shop houses. As the rain falls from the heavens, it creates a mesmerizing and intricate pattern on the wet pavement, reflecting the incedent angle of the surroundings.
The ripples in the puddles, reflecting the chaos and texture of the shop houses and the energy of the city, add an extra layer of depth to the painting. It's as if the viewer is walking alongside the individuals and experiencing the frenzied yet vibrant city through their eyes. Despite the hustle and bustle of the city, the individuals must navigate the obstacles along the way, adding a touch of humor and relatability to the piece.
Being situated one degree away from the equator, snow in Singapore is a rare and unlikely event. However, the artwork captures the spirit of the moment with such finesse that one can almost feel the result of icy flakes falling from the sky as they turn into rain. This is a remarkable work of art that not only captures the beauty of Singapore but also the resilience of its people.
In conclusion, "Snow in Singapore" is an amazing piece of art that transports the viewer to another time and place. The intricate details and vivid colors make it a must-have for any art enthusiast or Singapore lover. Don't miss the opportunity to own this masterpiece and bring the beauty of Singapore into your home!

City Srolls
Canvas
I am not sure whether to call this 'City Strolls' or 'Virtual Insanity.' I guess the confusion is due to the words in that Jamiroquai song, 'Virtual Insanity,' and the reality of those lyrics. Most people walk around oblivious to all the energies that surround us and how we shape our plastic reality. It also reminds me of the time I used to walk in the freezing cold to the gym. Either way, there is a certain beauty in being affected by the texture of this abrasive life and how we are all in it and still struggle to get somewhere. Well, I guess we can forget about the pipe dream we were all sold. It's liberating to know they are gone, but I'm glad that I still have more time to reshape myself again. So I walk through the quantum fields, the smells, the snow, and reconstruct myself and my art affected by everything, recreating life on the fly. I have found a certain comfort in the unknown. We may be living underground one day, but for now, I will just keep walking, embracing whatever change is to come next. If I knew what would happen next or what to expect, I would probably think that I had the power to change it. Welcome aboard the ride. It's not always easy, but we are all in it whether we like it or not, so I think we should make the most of it while we are here."
As for the art itself, I think it symbolizes all we have to go through, the things we will encounter, and the tools we carry with us to get through it. This style is something that I am working through as our society and selves become more digitized and desensitized to all that we encounter along the way. I think you can only do your best and always try to help one another because the challenges that lie ahead are going to require a village and a lot of compassion for one another.
