Bio

Maggie has significantly contributed to Australia's digital art scene by working with an app developer to create one of the country's first fully interactive decks of affirmation cards, allowing butterflies to exit the artwork and fill the room. Art for the soul.

Set your soul free from those who no longer contribute positively to your life, and soar high like the birds in the breeze. It’s about having the freedom to make your own choices. The birds represent freedom, and the hydrangeas signify sincere apologies and making amends with family, friends, or ourselves. Sometimes, we must acknowledge we won’t all agree, but we must find ways to recognize and move on to be genuinely free.

The original is framed in a white frame. Artist Statement If only we could see ourselves as others see us. We are all guilty of building a wall around our hearts so it doesn’t get broken. Sometimes it’s like a fortress letting no one in and we are left peering through the one-way windows. Sometimes, we allow those outside to glimpse into our souls for fleeting moments. We look out at the world, wondering where we fit in. Where do we belong? This piece reminds you to allow yourself to be seen. You’re too beautiful to be hidden behind any wall. It may take a little time, but only when you embrace the full spectrum of who you are can you transcend the shadows and step into your own light. Some may not even realize how you light up a room and inspire people by just being you.
