It’s a Touchy Subject
Acrylic on OSB Plywood
53 X 30.25 X 3 inch
A surreal and provocative composition featuring an alien, a primate, and a human infant in a layered embrace. The towering extraterrestrial figure, dark and enigmatic, rests its elongated hands on the shoulders of a chimpanzee-like figure, who cradles a pale, blue-eyed child. Against a raw, textured background haloed in white, the work meditates on evolution, intervention and the blurred boundaries of origin. Framed in a beautifully polished TV core that reflects the light from a string of hidden LED’s behind the painting. You will find 2 QR codes precariously placed on the bottom side of the frame just out of the viewing eye line as not to disturb the piece. One to explain the piece from the artist’s perspective the other to the artist’s website.

Kaiko -“Nostalgia”
Acrylic on OSB Plywood & g-i-t-d (un-framed)
24 X 36 X 0.5 inch
Artist Statement-
‘Kaiko’ - meaning nostalgia in Japanese - is a collision of memory and movement. This work reinterprets Hokusai’s Great Wave through the playful, chaotic lens of a 90’s animation and childhood impressions.
Painted primarily with my hands and layered with glow-in-the-dark pigment, the piece pulses with the feeling of dreams you remember in flashes - warm, weird, and wave-ridden.
It’s not just a painting - it’s a portal to what raised us.

That’s cute, but is it ART?
Digitally hand-drawn print
23 X 16 X 2 inch
A skeletal figure in a backward cap stands on a stylized Venice Beach boardwalk, finger-pointing toward a sign that reads, “Welcome to Muscle Beach! Lift at Own Risk!” The skeleton’s thought bubble floats overhead: “Muscle Beach? That’s cute… but is it ART?!”
The surrounding scene brims with visual humor — palm trees, beach sand, storefront graffiti, and a glaring orange sun — all rendered in crisp, high-contrast lines with a mix of realism and cartoon exaggeration. The result is part satire, part postcard, and part existential jab at the art world.

Artist’s Statement:
“Sometimes you’ve just gotta ask the question no one wants to answer. This piece pokes fun at hype, ego, and the blurred line between flexing and creating. It’s my way of saying that art doesn’t have to be serious to make a serious point.”
