As the sun rises and the full moon sets, the pinkish hue in the sky creates a sense of calm at Smith Rock. It is as if the world is new again - fresh and unblemished by the troubles of the day. With each new dawn, we are given a chance to start afresh and appreciate all that is good in our lives. This special place is a reminder of that hope and possibility.
The sight of the sun setting behind Smith Rock in Oregon is a reminder of both nature's beauty and power. As winter blankets the landscape with a fresh dumping of snow, the horizon glows an ethereal golden hue against the rocky cliffs, creating an awe-inspiring view. Standing amongst such grandeur, one can't help but appreciate its sheer magnitude; here at this moment, time stands still.
