This is the completed "Pipe Dreams". As usual, I have used a combination of Rembrandt and Artspectrum soft pastels and Derwent, Cretacolor, and Faber Castell pastel pencils. The paper is my favourite Artspectrum Colourfix pastel paper. The reference photo was purchased from Shutterstock.

This terrier "On Guard Duty" pastel painting is now complete! As you will recall from previous posts on my Instagram feed, the reference photo that I have worked from was taken by my wife Cathy at the Puerto Calero market in Lanzarote. The contrast between the brightly coloured blankets, and this little terrier making sure he knows what is going on, is striking.
