David F. Heatwole is an 11th generation artisan, an arts advocate, collector, author and publisher. Growing up at the elbow of a wood sculptor, aka. The Wizard of Wood, was most influential in leading him naturally into the art making field. However, the artist believes that somehow there is just more to it, being an artist is just in his blood programmed into his DNA. David lives with his wife and three of their children in Berea, Ohio.
This is an important piece in the artists career because it was what he was working on when he made a most interesting and profound discovery in his home town while research realestate comparables to his family's home before putting it on the market in order to move from West Virginia to Ohio.
