Bio

Carol is a self-taught impressionist/abstract artist with a unique and dynamic style all her own. Her work is characterized by bold brush work and a loose intuitive approach. She is known for her fearless use of colour and richly layered textures.
Painting land and seascapes, florals and still life, she seeks to convey truth, beauty and authenticity in her work.

“My hope is that my art will spark some joy and surprise in the viewer and that they will have an emotional response”

Carol has her studio in Victoria BC. She is an Active Member of the Federation of Canadian Artists, and shows her work in International, National and Regional exhibits and juried shows.
