ABOUT THE ARTIST
Angel Torres was appointed featured artist in the Ritmos Art Gallery Academy by Worcester District Representative Hilda Rodriguez in April of 2012 and continuously on 2013. He is responsible for many fundamental groups and youth leaders in his community. His passion for art has impacted many and this website is an extension of that inspiration. Some of his most skilled mediums are pencil, ink, pastels, acrylic, and oil. Now he offers this website with exclusive access to his works of art. Mr. Torres has included his photographic works because in his artistic journey he is also interested in the light of photographic media. His talent keeps growing and there is an invitation at hand for the reader and it is to engage in this movement and take part in this artistic tour. Acquire a piece of art by going to the Contact section and making a request.

This leadership provides good resources to Worcester’s youth artists. In other roles, prior to being appointed as performing artist or even graduated High School, Mr. Torres was awarded by the Massachusetts Legislature Secretary because of his completion of the Advancement Placement Via Individual Determination Program and Junior Achievement Academy Program. These programs were in Partnership with the Burncoat Senior High School and Assumption College. He also participated in the JA Success Skills Program of the Greater Worcester Area and Completed the Careers in Accounting and Management Professions Program by UMass Amherst University in 2007 before graduating HS in 2008. He has led groups for community activities for the past 12 years including missionary work in Guatemala and Mexico.
