Artist comment: “Trump got the FIFA Peace Prize?! lmao” On December 5, 2025, during the 2026 FIFA World Cup Final Draw, FIFA President Gianni Infantino gifted Donald Trump a custom gold trophy - the first “FIFA Peace Prize”. A few weeks before, Cristiano Ronaldo attended a high-profile dinner (of billionaires) at the White House as a special guest of Donald Trump to honor Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. Maybe the World Cup winners will be invited to the new White House ballroom, built with taxpayers money? I’m just laying it out there; I don’t think I need to add much more… What the hell is this?

Artist comment: “F*ck FIFA” This painting was inspired by the moment a journalist threw money at Sepp Blatter, once the president of FIFA, who was at the center of the largest corruption scandal of sports history. Although he was cleared of criminal corruption and fraud charges by a Swiss appeals court in 2025, he was found guilty of ethics violations leading to his removal from office and long-term bans from all football-related activities. In my short lifetime, I’ve seen the game change. Football has become less accessible to everyone, including to those who love this sport passionately. I’ve noticed this especially since last World Cup in Qatar. FIFA has generated over 13 billion dollars during its 2023-2026 cycle… How? This World Cup is a good example. Everything has become drastically more expensive; ticket prices, transportation, corporate sponsorships, lucrative broadcast rights, etc… (have you noticed these long water breaks?! So we can be fed more commercials…). Let’s put it this way… in 2006, price tickets were an average of 300$. In 2026, group stage tickets are an average of over 1000$ with the finals tickets being an average of 10000$.

Artist comment: “These bricks have a story of corruption.” This is a continuation of “The Forgotten Team”, taking place during the Qatar World Cup. We see a missing worker in the clouds next to a burning stadium that he helped build. A worker hanging from a crane, next to a small dangling rope… Maybe he died from the inhumane working conditions, or ended his own life while world leaders (seen on the left) sit comfortably in their boxes.
