Influenced by the tonal masterpieces of Ansel Adams, this black and white image was taken on the Stephen Burns Death Valley workshop in 2022. The group only had about 2 min to take this shot, as the sun rose to illuminate the valley behind Zabriskie. And each morning, photographers gather from all over the world to try to get this shot. Some days are luckier than others....that day, I got the shot. shot with a Nikon D750 with a Sigma 150-600mm
